I started at 17 with no real plan and a lot of determination. No college degree, no roadmap. Just a willingness to figure things out and a brain that was wired for building structure, solving problems, and making things work long before I had a title for it.
Over the next nearly two decades I worked my way from receptionist to Executive Assistant to Chief of Staff to Operations Leader. I've supported C-suite executives, led EA teams, managed workplace operations, and built processes from scratch in industries ranging from recruiting and finance to environmental services and tech.
Along the way, I started taking on the design work too. Not because it was part of my role, but because I could see the gaps. A process is only as effective as the experience surrounding it, and I found myself building the presentations, websites, brand identities, and visual systems that brought ideas to life.
blushHoney is where all of it lives now. The operational brain and the creative one. Turns out they were never that different.
When I'm not working, I'm a mom to three kids, a birder, and an artist who splits her time between Procreate and pencil sketches.

A client with an antique thrift shop needed a logo that could live everywhere: business cards, his website, and eventually a sign outside when he opens his doors. I know his style well, so I skipped the brief and went straight to the vibe. The ornate detailing and gold tones do exactly what a good vintage logo should: make it feel like it's always existed.

House of Seraphyne
A metaphysical shop owner had a name, a feeling, and one specific request: there had to be a dragonfly. I sketched it by hand, built the typography around it, and developed two logo variations in a deliberate black and white palette. From there the brand expanded into an Etsy shop, banners, and a full website build. Some projects ask you to tap into something deeper. This was one of them.
